My Personal Benjamin Moore Color Story Inspiration
An exotic trip, an antique fabric, a stained glass window, or even a favorite scarf can all tell a color story. Whether you are pulling together an outfit or designing a room there is always a tale to be told.
My personal color story revolves around a trip I took to Bermuda. The sounds, the sights, the people…they all contribute to my story. Prior to this trip I had always considered myself an earth tone person gravitating towards the reds and the browns but there was something magical about the Bermuda waters that I couldn’t shake. I sat on the beach for hours just staring into each wave as it gently caressed the soft sandy shore. What seemed like a never ending amount of blues and greens were continuously fluctuating leaving each one permanently embossed in my mind.
Benjamin Moore’s Color Stories collection helped me bring that memory back to life. In browsing through each volume I came across Avalon Teal. I instantly envisioned the Bermuda waves.
