1. What is a Virtual Designer?
The Virtual Designer is a web-based interactive virtual room designer that you can easily customize with your brand and products and then insert into your company's website. Your customers will be able to use the Virtual Designer from the comfort of their own home and see your products in real room scenes. This will help them make better buying decisions. Check out the video below for an overview of our 2.0 version.
2. How do I get started? How long will it take?
Getting started is easy! Simply request a demo or contact Vartays via the Virtual Designer's Contact Sales form. We will contact you to setup a time for your demo or to get you started. Once your Virtual Designer is configured, we'll send you the link to add to your site. Depending on the options you choose, you may have it up and running in a few weeks!
3. How secure is the Virtual Designer?
The Virtual Designer is a secure, hosted solution that does not pose any known risk to your site or its visitors.
4. What is the contract time frame?
The Virtual Designer is sold as a yearly subscription. You may pay quarterly or yearly

We will help you figure out which bucket you fall into in terms of pricing.
6. Are there other fees that we would need to pay before setting up our account or posting this on our website?
If you would like to add your own products and/or room scenes to your Virtual Designer, you will incur additional one-time fees. Adding an additional domain license is a cost of $100/month.

8. What level of customization in design is possible with the Virtual Designer?
When you first purchase the Virtual Designer, you will have a creative call with us. On this call we'll ask you to choose the page orientation, layout, header, color theme, lead generation settings, default products, etc. Starting with the Standard Package, you're able to design your own color theme for a small fee, or you may want a fully-customized look for a larger fee. 9. Is this only web-based or can we make CDs of this app?
The Virtual Designer is only offered as a hosted web based solution. We won't be making Virtual Designer CDs. We do not offer the Virtual Designer as a downloadable application either.
10. Do you offer a free trial period?
We don't currently offer a free trial. Sign up at the bottom of any page to receive our special promotions, or try a Virtual Designer demo!
11. Do I have to host The Virtual Designer?
The Virtual Designer is a web-based application that Vartays hosts and maintains. It's a SaaS application (Software as a Service).
12. Can I put the Virtual Designer on multiple domains?
Yes. The Virtual Designer license agreement is for a single domain; however, we offer additional domain licenses for $100/each per month.
13. What products are included in the Virtual Designer?
Currently we have generic swatches of the following products: paint, carpet, area rugs, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, vinyl tile, linoleum, countertops, garage doors, roofing and wallcoverings. We're also offering a Benjamin Moore® paint palette which includes the Affinity®, Classic Colors®, Color Preview®, and Historical Colors® palettes.
14. What room scenes and exterior images are included in the Virtual Designer?
Currently we have the following options to choose from: Bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Foyers, Hallways, Home Exteriors, Kids’ Rooms, Kitchens, Living Rooms and Offices. We are constantly adding more room scenes.
15. How many products/room scenes can I upload?
There is no limit to the number of products or room scenes that you can have in your application.
16. How do I pay for the Virtual Designer?
Customers are invoiced on a quarterly or yearly basis, depending on the terms you have with Vartays.
17. Can I have a copy of the privacy policy?
Absolutely. You can view it on our website here or you can dowload it via PDF here.
